All USAT rules will be enforced strictly. There should be NO DRAFTING for any reason. Drafting will not be allowed on the bicycle course. Please view this link if you have any questions as to the USAT rules and penalties.

Any participant who at any time wears or carries a headset, radio, headphones, personal audio device, or any other item prohibited by Section 3.4(i) shall be subject to a time penalty. A participant may carry a water bottle on the run portion of the course, provided that such container is not made of glass. Glass containers are prohibited. This means no MP3 players or headphones on the bike or run.

There will at RockMan as all Tri’s be “litter zones” if you litter outside the zone on the public roads you will be subject to USAT penalties. BUT – if you litter on the grounds of Rock Cut State Park outside of a “litter zone” the Illinois Dept of Natural Resources Police will provide you with a $75.00 ticket after they stop you long enough to positively identify you and ticket you (ending your race). This is a very clean beautiful park; they are serious about keeping it that way. The best bet it to not litter outside of the zone.

Do not forget that Rock Cut State Park is a alcohol free park.

No alcohol is allowed on the Rock Cut State Park grounds. Sorry folks, no beer at the finish line. Campers, this counts for the camp ground as well. Illinois DNR Police will  arrest any persons consuming or even having alcohol within the confines of Rock Cut State Park.
