Rock Cut State Park Camping:

We have been fortunate that Rock Cut State Park has given all RockMan campers full access to the "Group Camping" areas. Please check the map for where this area is. The cost for camping will be $6.00 per person, per night. Tickets for camping will be available at packet pickup as well as at the camp ground entrance.

In the group camping spots for tents will be first come first serve. There are out houses, running water and wonderful views of the lake from these camping spots, as well as being right on the run course. There will be bon fires in group pits with RockMan provided fire wood. Please be aware that there are no park provided cooking grills and you will have to provide your own for cooking if needed. Also, as this is a group area please be considerate of others who are preparing to race and trying to get a good nights rest.

For those who want to include an overnight stay in their visit to Rock Cut, the park offers 28 Class A-Premium sites for reservation, 180 Class A-Premium sites and 60 Class B-Premium sites on a first-come first-serve basis. There is also a primitive cabin available for reservation. It has electricity, but does not have water or plumbing facilities.

Open year round, the campgrounds provide water, electricity, sanitary dump stations, showers, toilets, a boat launch and playground equipment. Only electricity and pit toilets are available in the winter season. Equestrian camping is restricted to a site on Hart Road. Groups of more than 25 persons need advance permission from the site superintendent before they can enter the park, and all campers require a permit from park personnel. Alcohol is prohibited in the campground.
